Research Interests

I am currently working on the project HARMSflu (http://www.harmsflu.org/): its end is to harmonise different scales in data-driven modelling of influenza spread.
I am, in particular, working on a model, based on meta-population stochastic models, that include spatial heterogeneity, age structure, and information about the variation of social and mobility patterns induced by week-ends and holidays.

I am also interested in stochastic adaptive networks and, more generally, stochastic modelling to address issues coming both from social sciences and biology, my main expertise being that of a statistical physicist.

In the past I worked with non-markovian processes, renewal theory and linear response theory for such systems.
